What is counselling?

When people are experiencing difficulties in any aspect of their lives – at work, love or play that is when I use my professional skills to enable a person or couple to calmly address their problems and issues in a supportive and safe environment. I tailor the therapeutic approach to suit the specific needs of the person/ people who see me.

I work with such issues as grief and loss, relationship issues, trauma, bullying, workplace problems, significant life transitions, and skills development for self esteem and confidence, and parental guidance, communication and conflict resolution, anger management, managing relationship and family breakdown. 

I also work with more serious issues of depression, anxiety, personality disorders, eating disorders, traumatic events both current and from childhood.

I provide Employer Assistance Programs for organisations.
